Dementia support for Chinese communities

The Chinese Communities Admiral Nurse Clinic offers free, confidential support for people from Chinese or South-East Asian communities who are living with dementia, as well as their families and carers.

Clinic appointments give you the opportunity to speak to a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse for expert, culturally sensitive support and advice shaped around your needs. Appointments take place online via video call, or by phone.

The nurses in the Chinese Communities Admiral Nurse Clinic can speak to you in Cantonese, Mandarin or English, helping you feel understood and supported.

  • people living with dementia

  • people from Chinese or South-East Asian communities

What support you’ll receive

Our Admiral Nurses can help with:

Appointments:

  • are available up to one month in advance
  • must be booked at least 48 hours before your preferred date

Clinic days: every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Times: 10am, 11.15am, 2pm and 3.15pm

Duration: 45 minutes

Format: choose between a video call or telephone appointment

Appointments can only be booked by the person living with dementia, a family member or carer. We are unable to accept third-party referrals.
