Dementia UK provides support for ongoing professional and practice development for Admiral Nurses in growing and maintaining knowledge, skill and competencies as specialists in dementia care.
This is supported by an experienced Admiral Nurse Academy Team. There is a range of activities as part of the Admiral Nurse Academy, including an induction programme, practice action learning sets (clinical supervision), practice development opportunities, and access to online learning.
