Get active and explore some of the capital’s historic areas with a tour of the gateway to London along the Thames’ eastern section.
Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks (a short walk from the new Elizabeth Line station), our 25km looped route heads through Charlton and along the Thames Path around the Greenwich Peninsula, passing the O2, Old Royal Naval College and the imposing Cutty Sark. Then you’ll trek through the Greenwich foot tunnel and into London’s Docklands, past the Thames Barrier Park and back to Woolwich.
The route is steeped in history with many iconic sights along the way, topped off with a barbecue and bar at the finish – making for a wonderful end-of-summer celebration!
As Dementia UK is an official partner of this event, you will receive a 50% discount on the ‘full sponsorship’ registration fee when signing up to support families affected by dementia.

Full sponsorship – you pay a small registration fee and we’ll cover the remaining cost of your event place as long as you hit your fundraising goal! As we are an official charity partner, you will receive a 50% discount on the standard registration fee below.
Mixed funding – pay half the cost of your event place yourself, fundraise a bit less and we’ll cover the balance of your place in the event.
Own Place Fundraising – you pay the full cost of your event place yourself, then fundraise as much as you can – there’s no set target or deadline, and no cost at all to Dementia UK.
