Your funds will be used to increase the number of specialist dementia nurses, known as Admiral Nurses. They provide free, life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia. They work in local community services, GP practices, hospitals, care homes and hospices. They also run our free Dementia Helpline and online clinic appointments.

The money you raise is invaluable in helping us achieve our vision of a world where no one faces dementia alone—where everyone gets the specialist support they need. Find out more about our work and the difference your donations make.

If you or anyone you know need support with any aspect of dementia, you can speak to an Admiral Nurse on our free Dementia Helpline: call 0800 888 6678 or email helpline@dementiauk.org. If you prefer, you can book a video call or phone appointment with an Admiral Nurse. You can also read our information and advice online.

We are currently running dementia clinics with Admiral Nurses in branches of Nationwide across the UK as part of our partnership. Book an appointment near you.

If you or someone close to you have recently been diagnosed with dementia and want to know about the next step, register for our free online sessions, ‘Dementia: what next?’.
