10,000 Steps a Day in January
We are challenging you to take 10,000 steps every day in January. Where and how you chose to walk each day is up to you!
Book your exhilarating freefall from 10,000 feet and support families across the UK facing dementia. We work with Skyline to make your skydive as easy and as thrilling as possible, with a choice of various airfields across the country.
All you’ll need to do is choose your date and location, secure your place by paying the £70 registration fee to Skyline, fundraise for our Admiral Nurses… and jump! Already booked and paid for your Skydive and want to support families facing dementia? Just let us know and we will be happy to support you!
For this event we ask for a minimum fundraising target of £395, however, some skydiving centres will set a slightly higher fundraising target.
Jump out of a plane and help raise vital funds so our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses can provide life-changing support to families facing dementia. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
Skyline specialise in organising fundraising events for charities. If you have any questions about doing a skydive, please phone 020 7424 5522 and they will be happy to help.
All you must do is raise at least £395 in aid of Dementia UK by asking your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you. You will be supported by Dementia UK throughout your fundraising journey. Every penny you raise over the minimum will be further supporting Dementia UK and giving you the chance to make an exhilarating freefall parachute jump for FREE!
You can take part at any of the airfields that Skyline provides (subject to availability).
For a tandem skydive you must be at least 16 years old and under 15 stone in weight. Please note some centres have lower weight limits – please contact skyline for details.
You may not be able to participate if you have diabetes, epilepsy, fits, recurrent blackouts, heart or lung disease, mental illness or some forms of asthma – please contact Skyline for advice.
Skyline has third-party insurance of up to £2,000,000 but this will not cover you for personal injury.
Simply complete your booking online as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, Dementia UK will not be able to authorise your jump and you will not be able to participate.

Supporter Sarah tells us about her Skydive for Dementia UKI thought if I could skydive in memory of my Grandad, he would be very proud. It was overwhelming but I was very excited although also very nervous. Leaving the aircraft and free falling was out of this world!
