Great challenges need great settings – and few can beat the Isle of Wight’s coastal path. Two thousand adventurers of all experience levels will walk, jog or run the Isle of Wight Challenge in 2024, going all out to push themselves further. You can pick your distance – with 10-mile, quarter and half marathon, and the full 106km marathon routes to choose from, there’s a challenge for everyone!

The event takes place along the island’s spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles and up to historic Cowes at the halfway point. Full Isle of Wight challengers will then head for the cliffs of Ventnor before returning to a warm welcome at our base camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey.

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, and support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll receive a glass of fizz, finisher’s t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

As Dementia UK is an official partner of this event, you will receive a 50% discount on the ‘full sponsorship’ registration fee when signing up to support families affected by dementia.

Head to the Dementia UK Ultra Challenge page to find out full details of prices and to sign up.
