Friends play a board game

Raise your Game for Dementia UK

Get on board

Raise your Game is the perfect occasion to get everyone together for a fun-packed games night while raising funds to ensure that no one will have to face dementia alone.

By hosting your board games event, you’ll be helping us fund and develop more nurses so families get the specialist dementia care they deserve, when they need it most. Raise your Game is taking place in October, but you can hold your event in any month you like.

It was great to get friends together and play our favourite games as well as new ones. The bonus was that it was all for a worthy cause.

How you will make a difference

When you Raise your Game this autumn, you’ll be helping our specialist dementia Admiral Nurses provide a vital lifeline to people living with dementia, their families and friends.

  • £25 – could mean an Admiral Nurse can provide advice and support on how to communicate with someone with dementia to 20 families
  • £70 – could help fund a Helpline nurse for two hours in the evening, helping carers in crisis when other sources of support have closed for the night
  • £230 – could pay for a brand-new Admiral Nurse for a whole day, offering care and support to families facing dementia
  • £515 – could mean that two nurses can take Helpline calls from people with nowhere else to turn all day on a Sunday, when other services are closed
