Art File: Calendar Design Submissions

Deadline: Monday 13th July 2026

With our corporate partner, The Art File, we are seeking to develop a new calendar for 2028. We are looking for submissions for the artwork for each month from people with lived experience of dementia.

About the competition

The theme of the calendar is ‘things that bring you joy’.

We recommend that designs are seasonal, e.g. oranges and reds for autumn.

Your design can be related to a month, e.g. Christmas with your family for December or a beach holiday for August.

We are especially looking for scenes that depict nature and landscapes.

If possible, please submit artwork as JPEG files.

Can artworks please by 300mm by 300mm in size.

If you need any support with submitting your artwork, please contact or send it directly to the corporate partnerships team at corporate.partnerships@dementiauk.org.

You can submit up to three designs in total on the form below. These can be for the same or different months. If you have additional designs, please send these to corporate.partnerships@dementiauk.org. Please note that submitting multiple forms is not a guarantee your designs will be chosen.

Dementia UK and The Art File will jointly decide on the 12 successful designs and will inform the winners.

We may ask that original copies of the successful artwork are sent to us, to be shared with The Art File directly. We will be in touch with more information for the winners.
