Our Board of Trustees is the governing body that guides the direction and management of Dementia UK
Together with her family, Dr Monica Greenwood and Margaret Butterworth, Jane helped to establish a specialist training programme in 1988. With the first Admiral Nurses appointed in 1990, the Dementia Relief Trust was launched in 1995. Jane held the position of Chair of the Board of Trustees for ten years until 2005, remaining as a Trustee until her retirement in October 2015. Jane was awarded an OBE in 2007 for services to those with dementia.
