LEAP (Lived Experience Advisory Panel)

Dementia UK’s Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) was set up in 2017 and is made up of people living with dementia and family carers.

LEAP supports the work of Dementia UK by providing feedback and advice and raising awareness of Admiral Nurses amongst local decision makers.

The panel has supported Dementia UK by advising and commenting on Dementia UK information resources, surveys and the Dementia UK Website.

It has met and worked with other groups around the country to support involvement and engagement with other people affected by dementia and to raise awareness of Admiral Nursing.
