This is the leading event for transforming social care and improving ther lives of people living with dementia. Building on the successful foundation of The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Show and UK Care Week, it creates an essential, dedicated event for both care professionals and the public – and a great opportunity to explore best practice, support services and innovative products for compassionate care.

We’re offering free, 25-minute confidential appointments with our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses who offer expert support and advice around any aspect of dementia. Sessions can be booked onsite on the day at our stand and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

We’ll be sharing a stand with Nationwide. We’re proud to be working in partnership as part of Nationwide’s social impact programme, Fairer Futures. The Nationwide team and our branch Admiral Nurses will be there to share more information on Nationwide’s dementia branch clinics.

We’re also involved in a number of key sessions on both days:

  • A Partnership with Purpose: Nationwide and Dementia UK on navigating finances when living with dementia
Exploring the practical support and key financial decisions that customers should prepare for
With Claire Athey (Customer Vulnerability Manager – Nationwide), Kirsty Davis (Customer Vulnerability Senior Manager – Nationwide) and Victoria Lyons (Head of Digital Delivered Services and Dementia at Work – Dementia UK).
  • Keynote address from Stephen Kinnock MP, Minister of State for Care, in discussion with Paul Edwards, Chief Nursing Officer, Dementia UK
Stephen will share his perspectives on the priorities and challenges facing the care sector. This will be followed by a discussion with Paul, and finally questions from the audience.
  • Dementia question time: Bringing together cutting-edge research and the realities of caring for and living with dementia.
Day 1: The panel brings together policy leaders, practitioners, researchers, regulators and those with lived experience to confront the realities of dementia care today.
