Become an Event Photographer

About the role:

You will join Dementia UK staff and volunteers at our cheer point or postrace locations to get photos of our amazing runners and cyclists.

Availability/Hours:

Weekend work – between 2.5 – 4 hours

Locations:

London, Brighton, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cardiff

Full role description:

About the team:

Dementia UK have a dedicated events team that manage our third-party events. We recruit and support those who have chosen to take on a physical challenge to support Dementia UK.

You will support our runners and cyclists by providing wonderful images that commemorate the day.

It is a fantastic opportunity to meet some of our amazing participants and hear why they are supporting us.

Volunteer Tasks:

To take photographs of Dementia UK participants on the course / at the post race reception with their medal

You may be asked to travel from our cheer point to our post-event location

We will provide a list of shots we would ideally like of our participants, but would love you to also take any other shots that you think will look great

Skills and Experience:

Experience in photography – sports ideally

Additional information:

Access to a car / good transport links

Required to stand for long periods of time

Must have your own professional camera
