Over 2,000 adventurers will walk, jog or run the fabulous Peak District Challenge in July and receive the famous ‘Ultra Challenge’ support and hospitality all the way, helping you push yourself further and achieve something really special!

From the Bakewell base camp, the full 100 km challenge heads out past Chatsworth House, and on through varied terrain on a figure- of-eight route that includes testing climbs, and some stunning views. With half, quarter and 10- mile challenge options also available, plus optional camping packages at basecamp, there’s an unforgettable Ultra Challenge weekend for everyone in the Peaks!

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, finisher’s t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

As Dementia UK is an official partner of this event, you will receive a 50% discount on the ‘full sponsorship’ registration fee when signing up to support families affected by dementia.

Head to the Dementia UK Ultra Challenge page to find out full details of prices and to sign up.

My father passed away in January 2021 having suffered with dementia for a few years. We collected money for Dementia UK in lieu of flowers at the funeral, I thought it would be a good opportunity therefore to add to the money we had already collected by walking for Dementia UK
