Group of trekkers doing the South west coast to coast

South West Coast to Coast Challenge

Date: 24th/25th July 2021

Take on this new Challenge for 2021 across England’s South West Peninsular.

It’s 100km from Minehead in Somerset on the south bank of the Bristol Channel, down to seaside Dawlish on the southern coast of Devon, with some ups & downs of Exmoor and the meandering Exe Valley in between.

You’ll get full support all the way with marquee rest stops, free food & drink, and a huge welcome & celebration at the finish fine after an amazing journey. With half and ‘quarter’ distance options – there’s a South West Challenge for all!

Starting at Minehead, Somerset and on to the south bank of the Bristol Channel and on toward the southern coast of Devon.

Emma emma and anna

Emma and Anna tell us why they took on a trek for Dementia UK:

The walk was both emotionally and physically challenging.  But I can’t explain how lovely the support was around. Locals left out chairs with rest stops, with glasses of water and oranges; not to mention the moral support from the other people taking part.
