Complete the ultimate adrenaline challenge with #TeamDementiaUK by joining us for our Skydive Days on either Saturday 15th June or Saturday 31st August 2024! Make the big leap and experience the thrill of flying through the clouds from 10,000 feet on a summer day while raising vital funds for families affected by dementia. Let’s reach for the sky!
Your skydive will help grow the number of dementia specialist Admiral Nurses, who offer life-changing support for families facing the fear and confusion of dementia.
When you join #TeamDementiaUK you’ll receive:
- fundraising support from a dedicated member of our team
- a fundraising guide, with advice, hints, and tips in the build-up to the big jump
- a branded Dementia UK t-shirt for your jump
- a range of Dementia UK fundraising materials, including collection buckets, posters and balloons, to help you smash your fundraising goal
Skyline specialise in organising fundraising events for charities. If you have any questions about doing a skydive, please phone 020 7424 5522 and they will be happy to help.
To take part in our Summer Skydive Day, you will need to raise a target of £395-£450 (depending on the airfield where you complete your skydive) in aid of Dementia UK by asking your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you. We’ll support you throughout your fundraising journey, helping you meet – and even exceed – your goal. Every penny you raise over the minimum will help us offer a lifeline to even more families living with dementia.
The Dementia UK Skydive Day takes place on Saturday 15th June 2024 and Saturday 31st August 2024, and you can take part at any of the airfields that Skyline provides (subject to availability).
For a tandem skydive you must be at least 16 years old and under 15 stone in weight. Please note some centres have lower weight limits – please contact Skyline for details.
You may not be able to participate if you have diabetes, epilepsy, fits, recurrent blackouts, heart or lung disease, mental illness or some forms of asthma – please contact Skyline for advice.
Skyline has third-party insurance of up to £2m but this will not cover you for personal injury.
Simply complete your booking online for 15th June or 31st August as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, Dementia UK will not be able to authorise your jump and you will not be able to participate, but we will support you with your fundraising throughout.

Supporter Sarah tells us about her Skydive for Dementia UKI thought if I could skydive in memory of my Grandad, he would be very proud. It was overwhelming but I was very excited although also very nervous. Leaving the aircraft and free falling was out of this world!
