Festive fundraising ideas

Don’t let the holidays stop you from raising more than a glass; try some of these festive and fun fundraising ideas to raise money for Dementia UK.

Host a Mince Pie Mingle

Whether at home, at work or in your community, you can get festive with this fun fundraiser. Bake (or buy) your mince pies, heat up the mulled wine and ask for a donation to raise funds. You could even ask people to make an extra donation for wearing their best Christmas jumper.

Gift Wrapping

Offer family and friends the opportunity to have their gifts wrapped by you for a donation. You’ll take the stress away from them and they’ll have beautifully wrapped presents all ready for the big day!

Time for a Christmas Bake off

Everybody loves Dementia UK’s Time for a Cuppa event, so why not put a Christmas spin on it and get your festive bake on? You could just have a Christmas themed cake and coffee morning or make it into a competition by asking people to donate to enter.

Festive Deco Competition

Organise a best dressed Christmas tree, front of house, window or even an office desk competition with a donation to Dementia UK to enter. You could ask a local business to donate a prize.

Dress to Impress

Put on your glad rags, hold a dress to impress day at work and raise some money for our stars, our Admiral Nurses.

Homemade Holiday Jumper

Time to dig out that sewing machine for ‘Who’s got holiday jumper talent’ time! Host a fashion catwalk and get yourself some judges lined up to choose who has holiday style talent. Turn an old jumper or cardigan into this season’s holiday must have. You could even get a trophy for the winner.

Dementia UK Christmas Cards

Our new range of Christmas cards are now available to buy from our online shop. There’s a great mix of festive, fun, and traditional Christmas cards. Proceeds from the sale of all cards will go towards providing specialist dementia support for families through our Admiral Nurse service.
