Festive Fundraising Fun

Now that the festive season is upon us, it’s a great time to do something wonderful for Dementia UK by raising vital funds to help us provide more Admiral Nurses. Here are some of our top festive fundraising ideas!

Get Crafty!

Anwyn Ramsey handmade bows

We love seeing photos from our supporters who get crafty throughout the year and sell their creations for a donation.

If you feel like you would like to use your creative flare for Dementia UK then please do get in touch with us and we’ll support you along the way.

Dementia UK Christmas Cards

Don’t fancy making your own cards this year? By purchasing our Christmas cards to give to friends and family, you will be helping more families get the support of an Admiral Nurse simply by spreading some Christmas cheer! There’s a great mix of festive, fun and traditional Christmas cards, as well as items such as wrapping paper and virtual gifts, too!

Make room for Santa!

A great way to make room for Christmas is to dig out unwanted bric-a-brac to sell at your next local car boot sale. We can provide you with collection tins and posters, just let us know the date of your event and we’ll help however possible.

Bring some sparkle into work

The festive period is a great way to get people together and have some fun. Why not create some competition amongst colleagues and organise a Festive Bake Off – get the boss to decide the winner and then sell the cakes afterwards.

We have stacks of other ways you can fundraise at work, school or at home so please do get in touch with the fundraising team on 020 8036 5400 or fundraising@dementiauk.org and we will be delighted to speak with you about your ideas.
