Location: Hybrid working – between home and our office in Aldgate, London
Hours of work: Full-time 37.5 hours
Contract: 18 month fixed-term, full time
Salary: £37,000 – £39,000

Annual Leave: 33 days (plus eight bank holidays)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Database Officer to drive critical functions within our Database Services team. Your primary responsibilities will include importing fundraising data and maintaining high levels of data quality in our fundraising database.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing new import templates and processes to seamlessly incorporate data from diverse sources into the fundraising database. You’ll play a pivotal role in optimising import processes using Excel Macros and VBA. Additionally, you will be in charge of setting up and training new users on the Raisers Edge NXT database. Collaborating with the Database Manager and the wider Database Services team, you will provide guidance and support to fundraising teams, promoting best practices in utilising the Raiser’s Edge database to better support and drive fundraising growth and innovation across Dementia UK.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in using a fundraising database and using plugins to facilitate data imports. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with exceptional attention to detail and strong numeracy skills. Proven expertise in proposing, designing, and implementing new processes is essential.
