About the role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Facebook Community Coordinator to join our virtual events team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the Facebook Groups for each event, ensuring an exceptional experience for our dedicated supporters. Your main objective will be to foster a welcoming and engaging community for our Facebook supporters.
As the Facebook Community Coordinator, you will actively engage with supporter posts, promptly respond to inquiries, and extend warm welcomes to new members. By creating captivating and thought-provoking content, you will inspire and uplift our supporters, driving positive interactions within the community. Additionally, you will handle enquiries in our virtual events inbox and ensure that each group is equipped with compelling content before it goes live, thus facilitating registrations.

Monitoring their adherence to compliance and best practices will be part of your responsibilities.
To thrive in this role, it is essential that you have a proven track record of building positive relationships, networking, and delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in managing Facebook groups and utilising databases will be highly beneficial. Proficiency in IT, especially Office 365 applications, is a must. Strong organisational and planning skills, coupled with the ability to multitask, will contribute to your success in this role. Above all, we are seeking a candidate with an adaptable and proactive “can-do” attitude.
