For the Admiral Nurse Team Manager / Clinical Lead post we are looking for an exceptionally skilled Registered Nurse (adult/mental health/learning disability) with a passion for, and significant demonstrable track record of, providing person-centred and relationship-centred dementia care with a strong sense of advocacy and equalities for this client group.

Combining direct work with families with supporting the best practice of health and social care professionals, you will call upon your impressive knowledge of bio-psychosocial interventions to improve the experience and quality of life of people and families affected by dementia.

The post holder will need to have the ability to work in a variety of settings, across South Tyneside. The role will include seeing individuals, carers and families individually, managing/supervising a team of two, running groups and providing education/ training, as well as balancing a proxy-clinical caseload – all whilst setting-up, developing, maintaining and evaluating a new service.
