Brief description of role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton & Knowsley Admiral Nurses as the Nurse Clinical Lead.

Our Admiral Nurses will look at the needs of both the carer and the person living with dementia to offer expert, practical, clinical and emotional support

Our specialist dementia nurses give expert practical, clinical and emotional support to families. Their aim is to help improve the health and wellbeing of both carers and people with dementia. When things get challenging or difficult, our nurses work alongside people with dementia and their families, giving them one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions.

Our service is for carers of people living with dementia in Halton and Knowsley, such as family members and friends.

This post is subject to an enhanced with adults’s barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.  Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
