Norwich Practices Limited work in collaboration with Dementia UK to provide the specialist dementia support that families need through the Central Norfolk Admiral Nurse Service. We are looking for the right individual to join the service to provide specialist dementia nursing expertise and support to those affected by dementia, with a specific focus on family carers/ supporters of people with dementia.

The service operates across the localities of Norwich, North Norfolk and South Norfolk, with two nurses based in each locality. Each nurse will cover a designated demographic area within the community- we are currently looking for a nurse in the South Norfolk area. Contracts will be on a fixed term basis until March 2021. Secondment opportunities would be considered at the discretion of the current employing organisation.

As these posts are delivered in collaboration with Dementia UK you will be supported to maintain and strengthen your clinical expertise as a specialist nurse through clinical supervision and practice and professional development.  You will become part of a national network of Admiral Nurses, and will have the opportunity to access relevant post-graduate courses and develop professionally, informed by the Admiral Nurse Competency Framework.

If you are looking for a career development opportunity and have the skills and attributes to become an Admiral Nurse please contact Emma Krzyz, Admiral Nurse Clinical Lead, or Maisie Ogier, Dementia UK Business Development Officer, for an informal discussion.
