Memory Clinic Network
What is it?
A meeting roughly every four months for professionals involved in memory clinics based in the West Midlands.
Who attends?
The network has 102 registered members, drawn from the 14 healthcare communities of the West Midlands: nurses, managers, psychologists, occupational therapists, doctors, academics and others are involved.
Why does it meet?
- To share information and resources in shaping memory clinics.
- To network with colleagues.
- To review the memory clinic movement nationally and internationally.
- To support professionals involved in memory clinics.
- To learn from each other, share worries and difficulties and enable professionals to speak with a united voice
What is Dementia UK's role?
- To chair, co-ordinate and administer the Network.
- To raise the profile of West Midlands memory clinics.
