At Dementia UK Training we are committed to providing high quality, affordable training for those who work with older people and people with dementia. Investing in staff training is vital, but we also recognise that organisations have limited resources.  We aim to improve standards of care for people with dementia and promote good practice by developing the skills and knowledge of care workers. Training is delivered by our approved trainers who are specialists either in dementia and older people's care or in an allied area of health and social care (e.g. counselling, disability, service user involvement, HIV, alcohol and drugs services).

A one-page course outline for each course is available on request. The course outline provides information about the learning objectives and maps each course to NVQ, Skills for Care and other external frameworks.

Places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. It is always a good idea to telephone and check availability before sending in your booking form.

Courses run from 09:30-16:30 with registration from 09:00.
