Programmes of Learning

Dementia UK Training can provide bespoke programmes of learning. We will work closely with you to design a training programme that will meet the needs of your staff, helping you create a skilled dementia workforce within your organisation.

The bespoke format offers you the flexibility to build a programme based on your training requirements:

• Knowledge Content: you can decide the content of the programme, equipping your staff with new skills or building on existing ones
• Format: you can decided on the length of the programme, as well as how frequently you would like the training sessions to run
• Delivery: you can choose from a practical, experiential or more theory based style. Our team of trainers are also able to work alongside your staff to model best practice
• Evaluation and Assessment of Knowledge and Skills: you can choose to have formal assessment and evaluation embedded into the training programme
• Logistics: The training will be delivered at a venue of your choice

Dementia UK can also provide the accredited programme 'Working with People with Dementia and their Carers' as a commissioned course.
