QCF Level 2 Award in Awareness in Dementia Care

This award forms part of a new suite of qualifications, aligned to the National Dementia Strategy, which provides specific modules for those who care for people with dementia

Course Aim

To provide the theory and value base of best practice in dementia care and to assess learner's knowledge and understanding in the area of care for individuals with dementia

Suitable for

Those who are already working in the care environment or preparing to work in the care environment but who wish to gain knowledge and understand caring for individuals with dementia including:

• Residential care staff

• Domicillary workers

• Day services staff

Venue

Training takes place at Dementia UK, 6 Camden High Street, London, NW1 0JH

Cost

The cost of the course is £800.00 per person and includes all course materials with Workbooks written by Jackie Pool Associates and endorsed by City and Guilds
