Dementia UK has a strong presence in the South East, particularly in Kent where there has been significant investment in Admiral Nurses.
Admiral Nurses
There are Admiral Nurses working in the following parts of Kent:
- Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells
- Medway
- Maidstone
- Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley
- Dover
- Canterbury
- Thanet
- Shepway
- Ashford
- Swale
Dementia UK works in partnership with Kent and Medway Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) to provide Admiral Nursing services in Kent.
The services are funded by NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent, NHS West Kent and NHS Medway
The Kent Admiral Nursing teams also receive charitable support from Dementia UK and Bupa CSR
