Volunteer

Dementia UK welcomes all sorts of voluntary help - if you would like to give us some of your time we can use your skills and talents! Here are some suggestions you might like to consider:-

  • Helping us out at our offices in Camden, by taking on some administrative or financial work, either on a regular or "one-off" basis.
  • Helping out at a fundraising event or at one of our training courses.
  • Donating your skills in design, PR or media.

If you are a carer or a former carer, perhaps you might like to consider joining Uniting Carers, contributing to training by relating your experiences or sitting on one of our committees.

We are always keen to involve carers in the recruitment process for Admiral Nurses and in providing advice on the carer's perspective, and we would love to hear from you. Please email volunteers@dementiauk.org if you would like further details or download an Application Form.

We value all forms of voluntary help, and strive to treat our volunteers with the respect and consideration that paid members of staff are entitled to expect. We will reimburse travel and caring expenses as appropriate.
