Previous challengers
Tommy's Kilimanjaro Challenge

13 year old Tommy McInerney and his Dad Duncan raised an amazing £2700 by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in May 2011.
Chip and Ruth

8 days, 3197 miles, 8 countries and enough Red Bull to keep them awake for a month... But Chip and Ruth managed to raise £1000 for Dementia UK and have the holiday of a lifetime.
Chip and Ruth's European Mini Challenge took them to Paris, the Grand Prix circuit in Monaco, Turin, Rome, Florence, Verona, the Swiss Alps, St Moriz, Lichtenstein, Zurich, Strasbourg, Luxembourg and Brussels. Phew!! Sounds exhausting but was all for our great cause!!
Katie Coomber and Bob Butcher
Katie Coomber and Bob Butcher cycled from Vancouver to San Francisco on a tandem bicycle. That was a distance of 1057miles (not metres as the T shirts may imply!).
They completed the trip in just over 2 weeks averaging about 70 miles per day. As if that wasn’t enough, Bob and Katie we're camping and pulled all their equipment behind them in their tandem trailer!
The pair funded the trip themselves, and split the £3675.00 between Dementia UK and the Countryside Foundation. Fundraisers like this don’t come along that often so we are extremely grateful that they chose to fundraise for us. Thanks a million guys!
