Below are some of the great ways that companies have raised money for Dementia UK.
Momentum Business Club
The Momentum Business Club are supporting Dementia UK from July 2012 to September 2012 by donating 50p for every member and visitor that attends their Momentum Business Club monthly meetings at Cardiff and Swansea and any future clubs they open.
A Sense of Calm
A Sense of Calm is a pure form of relaxation therapy. The DVD is 60 minutes long and features 6 videos of specially-created, flowing images, set to specially-composed music, designed to promote relaxation through sensory stimulation. The DVD is £32.50 and for each DVD purchased from their website, they will donate £2.50 to the charity of your choice, including Dementia UK.
Great British Jigsaws
Great British Jigsaws are supporting Dementia UK by donating 50p for every 'Cottages in the Cotswold' puzzle that is sold. Click here to visit their website
AV Trinity Ltd
AV Trinity Ltd are donating 10% of any fees earned in relation to Care Fees Planning to Dementia UK. Click here for more details.
Winkworth - Notting Hill Branch
Winkworth Notting Hill Branch have chosen Dementia UK as their Charity of the Year for 2011.
Staff have added the Dementia UK strapline to all staff email signatures and 10% of all client fees will be donated to Dementia UK.
Appliances Online
Appliances Online sold a brand-new Neff G5624X7GB Upright Freezer on eBay with 100% of the final sale price being donated to Dementia UK!
The freezer went for £177.99 so a big thank you to Appliances Online!
Royal Bank of Scotland
A team based in the RBS London office chose Dementia UK as their "Charity of the Month" and raised a fantastic £2,442.43!
They organised many different activities including book and cake sales, a raffle, mini golf and for the more energetic, a spinning class and mixed netball match!
