Get Involved
There are currently over 820,000 people living with dementia in the UK (Alzheimer's Research Trust 2010). One in three of us will be affected by dementia at some point in our lives. Dementia UK is committed to improving quality of life for those affected by dementia now and in the future.
If you would like to support the work of the charity there are a number of ways you could get involved:
- Make a donation online or over the telephone to help fund the services we provide.
- Fundraise by running, swimming, cycling, skydiving, walking or kayaking. The possibilities are endless!
- Feel passionate about politics and issues around dementia? Why not join a campaign? Or better yet, start one of your own!
- Have some time to spare or skills to share? Volunteer to help out at our offices or at an event. Not only will you feel good about giving your time to a great cause, it will look really good on your CV too.
- Organise an event and show off your Party Planner skills! Or come along to one of our annual events.
- Work for us! View our vacancies here.
- Buying a gift for the person who has everything? Bet they don't have a Dementia UK Badge! Have a look at our shop for gifts and fundraising resources.
